weaving through immortal halls
that echo through the waking land.
Tell me tales of heroes bold
that stood against the storm alone
and sang their songs of victory.
I wish to have such strength
to bear the mantle of fate;
to be emboldened by the sun's hair.

okay so I did a read through first because when it comes to poetry I have to read it more than once sometimes. that way I make sure I understand what is being said, but with this one it is an amazing start to the book.
