Chapter 1

“It’s been 4 months Amelia”

“You need to communicate with me love”

“I can’t help you if you don’t”

The therapist looks at Amelia. A young girl only 19, deserted by her lover. Troubled daily by nightmares and visions. Just like the first day that she had come to the clinic Amelia continues to stare at the white wall in front of her. Her arms secured around her legs that touch her chest, and her head lays on top of her knees. She stays silent for the whole hour.

Sighing silently Mrs Charmikael gets up of her chair and asks her to follow her as their session was now over. They walk down the stairs in silence and then to Amelia’s mothers car that ways in the parking lot. Amelia silently gets into the car plugging in her ear phones to drown out whatever conversation the women were about to have.

“Ms Scott I’m afraid there’s nothing much I can do really. She’s still unresponsive, she refrains from talking at all. I’ve tried my best, I really have” the therapist explained.

“Well, I’m thankful for your services, I know what I need to do”

Is Ms Scotts reply. The two women smile and bid their goodbyes, before departing Annalisa looks back at her only child, her heart feeling heavy because she knows no matter what she does she can’t heal Amelia.

bushbaby: I love the slightly different spin on the were-world and I love love love reading Jaspers story splashed in-between. I honestly did not love Dev, he had no character growth and no arc I just didnt like who he is as a person and that made it hard to keep going about half way through. Without Jaspers ...

PARIS IN THE DARK

Hester: Very good, was short too the point , not lingering on the abuse, pity you didn’t let him step in earlier knowing the abuse was happening, but this is almost real for some women who have gone through it, just wish they could all have a princess at te end of thete tunnel
