Chapter 1

Asha POV

I was sitting in my hospital bed staring at the window. “Asha are you awake” one of the nurses ask opening the door. “Oh yes” I looked her way. We did a daily check up I took pain medicine. After awhile the nurse left. I look out the window again I heard the door open again. I looked to see a brown haired girl with a yellow hoodie and freckles on her face she was panting she probably ran here. “who are you” I asked she frowned. “You forgot I’m Pepper Asha” She Smiled it hit me. When I met Pepper she was like me but she looked healthy. “Pepper you looked different” I said a little shocked to see her again. “Of course it’s been years” she laughs. We started to catch up with each other. Later she left in the afternoon. I was alone again. It was past 8 and I decided to walk around I knew it Dangerous specially since I had a history of collapsing and fainting thanks to my illness. I walked outside The hospital was empty did all the nurses leave I thought some had Night shift. I walked in the cold hallway I started to feel dizzy my vision started to get blurry. I noticed a person a boy my age. I leaned on the wall for support it was hared to breath. “I never seen someone with your eyes pink and green” the boy muttered. I fell to my knees and lost consciousness.
