Terrence and Beth had been married but she divorced him when he confessed he was in love with her younger sister. Years later Beth has no choice but to turn to her ex-husband for a favour only he can grant, promising she can pay him back. He agrees on the condition of using Blythe as collateral, which Beth reluctantly accepts. Needless to say, she misses the deadline. Recognizing the men who have taken her, Blythe knows which buttons to press and which buttons to avoid. But as Terrence tries to close in, so do his brothers. Meanwhile Beth, unable to turn to the authorities, knows her only chance of saving her sister lies in the weakest link: a double-crossing Bishop. And it becomes apparent that blood is not always thicker than water.
