Chapter 1
PROLOGUE
Never in a million years did she think that she would be in this position. Sitting on the bathroom floor at work shocked by these results. She shook her head before glancing down at the test next to her foot, closing her eyes and taking a deep breath. This can’t be happening.
She was in the last semester of her senior year, working at the shitty fast food place down her street. Her grades couldn’t slip now, she made it this far into the year. The girl couldn’t lose focus now, she still has to buy her own car and figure out her career path. Does she want to go to college? Does she want to travel? Does she want to move and start over? Those questions were still being decided.
Letting out one last sigh, she glanced back down at the test as tears began running down her cheeks.
This can't be happening.
