Not Letting Tom an Jerry Fight - 1st Chapter
I didn't understand how time went by so quickly.. My friend, Anne is helping me pack my things from my house.. my old house from now on. It's a small house in a village in England but it holds so many memories, memories I have to leave behind. I've lived here since I was born and spent 16 years of my life in this place.. I'm gonna miss everyone and everything, from my best friend to the big tree I used to spend all my time sitting under and reading stories on Wattpad.. Yep, my life was really boring here so the only things that I did were my homework, spending time with my only friend and reading stories about bad boys and magic creatures on Wattpad.
There were moments in my days that I dreamed of meeting my own bad boy, that he would come one day to my school and turn around my whole life. I dreamed about receiving a letter that would say that I've been accepted to a school of magic because I was a witch or because my great great great grandfather was related to Batman. And after those moments pass, I laughed and always told myself that there are 0 chances that something like that would happen and to continue my normal life without those thoughts.
"Alexa, in which box should I put this hoody?" Anne asked me interrupting my thoughts and when I was about to tell her to put it in the one that wrote "clothes" on top I realized..
"Anne, give me that hoody" I demanded but before she had the time to move her hand I had grabbed it and pulled it close to my chest. "I'm sorry, it's just, this hoody was my brother's. He literally disappeared when he turned 18 and I never got to see him again." I said apologetically.
"Oh, Alexa, come here." I loved it when she called me Alexa, I hated my full name, Alexandra. But even so, she and my father were the only ones that called me Alexa. I never let people I don't like call me anything than Alexandra, that is to remind me of one more reason why I don't like them. She threw her arms around me and hugged me tight, so tight that I thought all the broken pieces inside of me would stick again.
"What have I done to deserve you?" i questioned even if the question was heading more towards myself.
"The same thing I did to deserve you" she answered.
"I'm sorry that I have to move.. Pinky swear that we will keep in touch no matter what?" I said and lifted my pinky. She quickly wrapped her own around mine.
"Don't be sorry, if we really are best friends then we will continue to be even if we don't leave near each other" she explained and I nodded.
"You're right and don't forget that I will come back again to see you, okay?"
"Okay" I said and there was a knock on the door, my dad took the boxes we had packed and informed me that we would be living in a couple of minutes.
"I guess that's it, oh I was about to forget it" I put my hand into my jean's pocket and pulled out a bracelet with my nickname on it and handed it to her. Then I pulled another bracelet from my pocket which had her own name on it and put it around my wrist.
"This is for you. Wear it when you want to feel like I'm with you. And please, never forget about it" I said to her emphasizing the last part.
"Thank you, Alexa. I promise I won't"
"Good because neither will I. Goodbye sis, I'm gonna miss you" By the time I hugged her we were both crying.. She is the most important person to me, after my dad of course. It won't be easy to be away from each other. It'll be like they're not letting Tom and Jerry fight each other again.
"Bye, sis" she said and we went together to the garage where my dad's car is. We hugged each other once again and she left while I went into the car waiting for my dad to get in..
