Becoming A Queen

My name is Tia and my dad is the King of Maldonia. He used to be the prince but his parents (my grandparents) sadly passed away just before I was born. I was born on August 3rd and my life was amazing! I was always treated with golden respect and was always treated kindly and with patience. The best part about my life was that everybody was extremely happy or at least until my mother passed away a month ago. We used to live in New Orleans but ever since my mother’s death, we have lived in Maldonia (a really boring country). My father (a.k.a King Naveen) has invited one of my mother’s closest friends to come and stay with us for a while so that she can brighten things up. Her name is Charlotte La Bouff and she has an outstandingly rude daughter called Chloe, who is the same age as me, and I am NOT happy about it! But my father would totally not listen to me! He has been so useless ever since mother died. And my father thinks that since I am only 14 years old, I should not be taking over as Queen. I asked him why but all he said was “It is a sign of bad parenting these days sweetheart.”. All I said back to that was “Mother wouldn’t have cared if I took her place as Queen!”. I really do regret saying that to father because it got me into so much trouble! But at the moment my father is still proceeding with me being Queen unless he asks Charlotte to marry him. That would be a real life nightmare if Chloe had to be my stepsister! Charlotte is a divorced woman and has had 3 husbands and hopes that my father will propose to her. And as for Chloe, she just wants all of the fame! It was announced that I was going to be Queen 4 weeks ago (1 week after my mother died) and my father was terribly shocked. I honestly do not think that I am ready but it could be fun!
