Nice start- Sci-fi with believable character development

"These two chapters of a larger story keep the reader moving along, all the while maintaining interest with good inter character banter as things fall apart around them. The sub text centers on the conflict between technology and 'natural' living, with a layer of mystery floating in the clouds. I marked a 4 star only because it's a partial story, but I would anticipate a well rounded plot and characters from this excerpt."
