Ignored
(My P.O.V)
I’m sitting on my bed trying to ignore my brother when I get a text from my best friend but also my crush, Cain, and I smile immediately as the text says, “Hey you. Hope you’re having a great day so far :)“. My heart immediately melts and I reply, “Hey, I am now that you texted.” then my brother smacks me.
“Goddammit, Tanner you are fixing to die!“, I yell at him and he runs off screaming as I try to hold back my laugh. Cain texts back, and I don’t hear my phone go off as I chase my brother to put him in a chokehold, but my mom scoops him up before I can catch him.
She glares at me before she slaps me, “Mari what have I told you about chasing your brother?“. I look at her and he snickers, “He shouldn’t be in my room going through my stuff and hitting me... it is as simple as you keep him out of my room because I’m not allowed to touch him... Remember... Mother?“.
I go back to my room and I place my phone on my desk then I lock my door. I turn on music and I sing along to my favorite song as I clean my room.
11:00 p.m. that night
I come back from a night on the town with my friends not realizing I left my phone on my desk since 7 am that morning. I look around my room after putting on sweats and a baggy tee to lay down on the bed in. I see my phone on my desk so I grab it and looks at it then my jaw drops. “Holy shit...100 messages and 20 missed calls from C-cain...“, I look at all the messages and the message he sent to reply to what I said was, “How come your day wasn’t good until I texted you? Is there something wrong?“. After that there were continuous messages saying “Hello?” and “Destin are you there?“. He texts one last time while I’m reading the messages. It says, “I guess I pissed you off. I’ll leave you alone since you’re ignoring me.“. I tear up and texts back, “Cain I’m so so so so so sorry... My brother had pissed me off and I never heard your text come through and I left my phone at home when I went out with my girlfriends. But... I guess if you’re mad at me just reply whenever..“. I put my phone on charge as I put it on vibrate when I lay down after turning off the lights and goes to sleep.
(Cain’s P.O.V)
I have my phone on silent and I go to Sara’s room and I poke her until she looks at me. She glares at me and says, “Go to hell, Cain.” and I chuckle. “But Sara I’m already here.“, I laugh then I get up and I go downstairs to find some food.
I eat some wings and then I clean up the kitchen and myself. I then walk to the bathroom and I take a shower. After I bathe and wash my hair, I step out and I dry off. I then realize I left my clothes in my room, “Dammit.“. I sigh and I wrap a towel around my waist before Sara walks in. I stare at her. “What the fuck man?“. She looks at me and says, “Get the fuck out Cain.“. I shake my head and I walk out with the towel still around my waist, and I go to my room. “She is so damn... Ugh. She pisses me off.“, I close and lock my door then I put on some boxers and basketball shorts. I lay down in bed, looking up at the ceiling. Then I fall asleep
