"Absolutely heartbreaking. This is one of those stories that leaves you feeling a little sad after you’ve finished it. There’s love, heartbreak, grief, regret, and second chances, and I had such complicated feelings about this couple the entire time. There was a tiny part of me, probably the hopeless romantic buried somewhere deep down, that wanted them to somehow fix everything and find their way back to each other. But the much louder, more rational part of me wanted the FMC to run as far away from her husband as humanly possible and never look back. I especially loved her growth throughout the book. In the beginning, she’s so completely in love with him that she’s willing to accept way more than she ever should and keeps desperately trying to save a marriage that he seems determined to destroy. By the end, she’s almost a different person. She finally knows her worth, stands up for herself, and takes back all the power she had given him. Watching her get there was probably my favorite part of the story. As for the MMC... I hated that man for about 98% of this book. 😂 Every time I thought maybe, just maybe, he was finally going to redeem himself, he managed to crush that hope almost immediately. He was an absolute asshole, and there were so many times I genuinely could not stand him. If I had to describe this entire book with one saying, it would definitely be, “You never know what you have until you lose it.” And yet I was completely hooked. I read the whole thing in one go because I needed to know where these two would end up. Such an emotional, painful read, and now I’m so curious about the sequel because I NEED to know what happens next. P.S There were a few errors and inconsistencies, but they didn’t bother me that much. Loved the title. Perfect for the story because it’s so ironic."

Maybe english is not the first language of the writer but it's alright because you can make it out on your own. This book is a rollercoaster of emotions and aggravating and frustrating to say the least but all in all it is really good and totally worth reading."
