Chapter 1
Introduction.
The Legions of Man, a universal group of super beings, have sent their best operatives known as the Alliance to hunt down and bring back a former member known as Takkolian. Takkolian has gone rogue creating such evil that he was sent to a prison called the Abandoned Realms high in the Himalayan mountains that is guarded by beings known as the Dark Walkers.
In a diabolical twist, Takkolian has escaped and has taken the Dark Walkers as his minions to an underground laboratory in the Sonoran desert. There he has enlisted the help of a sinister professor called Austin to create a hybrid army of Dark Walkers crossed with wild animals and ultimately with humans to serve his bidding and conquer the world.
It is up to the Alliance consisting of Marko Revello who can throw electrical charges of lightning with his hands, Benjamin Bennett who has super human strength, Azora, the old woman who has mastered spells and potions, Jahiri the mistress of intuitive reasoning and Dimitri Pavaloff who is a master psychic and sensitive to stop Takkolian.
Seeking Takkolian in the Abandoned Realms, they are not prepared for the explosive device that has been placed in his cave like cell that explodes nearly killing them all. It is then they realize that Takkolian has escaped and the Alliance must make their way through the Abandoned Realms and the Dark Walkers who guard it to find out where he has gone and destroy him.
The Alliance finds Takkolian in an underground laboratory in the middle of the Sonoran Desert where they fall under a spell of paralysis. With Azora finding the potion to reverse the paralysis they race to kill Takkolian and escape the laboratory before it is demolished by one of Marko Revello’s lightning bolts and finally sealed by Bennett who crushes the opening where no one can escape.
