Betrayed Love (16+)

"Mom hurry up I'm going to be late!" As always.

"I'm sorry honey I can't find my keys anywhere!" She whined.

My mom is single and hardworking artist. Her artwork is beautifully stunning. She makes realistic and abstract art. I beg her to hang some artwork up around the house, so she gives in and it makes the house so beautiful. She had me very young at age 16, my biological dad is a "pussy" As she says, she always knows how to make me laugh. He ran off once he found out she was pregnant with me. She is now 25 and I'm 15 and I'm yet to have any siblings which I always dreamed of happening.

"Oh! Here they are!" She yelled as she pulled them out of under her used paint brushes, which made them covered in red and yellow paint. She sighed and went to the kitchen and washed them off.

"You need to be more organized... " As I jokingly rolled my eyes and smiled.

"Well if someone helped clean around here then this wouldn't happen." As she obviously pointed that at me. She gave me a sarcastic look.

"Don't worry mom, I'll set you up an account on tinder then you can find someone to do that." As I looked at her with puppy dog eyes. She knows I hate her being single, plus she always whined about her being lonely.

"Hell no. If I wanted to be with someone I would have to find them in the real world. I don't need a creepy guy showing up to our house." That was her biggest worry and I always had to assure her that that's most likely not to happen.

"Mom pleaseee, the only men that you find in "The real world" Are old guys that want to buy your artwork." I pleaded as she rolled her eyes at me.

"I would like you to know that there is some fine ass guys that are willing to buy my artwork too." She smiled at me while also giving me a death stare.

"Whatever you say mom, but don't come whining at me when you're 50 and still single." I said sarcastically.

My school was about 5 minutes away so I wasn't that scared to be late.

"Whatever." She said as she walked to the front door and motioned at me to come. I hurried and grabbed my book bag which weighed like 100 pounds.

On our way there she was being a typical mom and whined at me to stand at the front of the school so she could take my first day of freshman year photo.

As we pulled up I told her to hurry up so none of the kids made fun of me. She took about 60 before she said bye and hugged me. "Meet new friends!" She yelled which only made my face redder then it already was.

I walked in and tried to find my locker which happened to be all the way across the school. I finally made it and had trouble opening the damn thing.

"Need some help?" I heard and turned around to find a tall girl around my height, and she was very beautiful with pale skin and brown hair.

I took a deep breath and sighed "Yes, I can't figure this dang thing out."

She laughed and took my paper with my combination and did it on one try. She helped me figure out how to do it and I thanked her.

"You're welcome." She said smiling. "What's your first class?"

"Oh, I think it's Algebra with Mr. Paterson." I said trying not to sound dumb.

"Oh yay!" She squealed "I have that next you can follow me!"

"Okay thank you" I said smiling and I followed her to a huge classroom I just stood there awkwardly with her by my side.

"My names Anna by the way." She said.

"My names Hailey." I said smiling.

"If you want you can sit with me at lunch, I really want you to meet my friends I think you'll like them" She said with an excited expression.

"Okay that would be nice, thanks" I said. "Great!" She squealed.

"This must be Miss Bowers I pressume." I heard a deep voice say and looked over to it being Mr. Paterson. He was a very good looking man and tall with dark brown hair and eyes he looked very young too.

"Oh uh, yeah I'm Hailey" I said awkwardly smiling trying to hide the fact that I was looking him up and down.

"Okay, well it's good to see you. Your seat is right next to Anna." As he was looking me up and down too. I could tell he knew I was blushing.

As I was walking towards Anna she was jumping up and down excited because we were sitting next to each other. "He's super cute" Anna whispered. "What ew, he's like 25" I whispered back. "Girl so what, I would let him do anything to me" I sat there and rolled my eyes and she smiled.

As the class went on he introduced himself and I was must of been staring at him too long because Anna kept teasing me. He kept looking over at us we we're laughing.

"Miss Bowers" I looked over at him and he was looking straight at me with his hands on his hips. "You keep disrupting the class, is there anything you would like to share? Since it looks important." He said with a side smile knowing it was embarrassing.

"Uhh" I didn't know what to say. I knew my face was so red. Since I took so long to answer I felt the gazes of all the class on me. "I- uh i was asking were I was going next" I said which was an obvious lie.

He was shaking his head in a sarcastic way and moved on with talking. "That was so embarrassing!" I whispered to Anna. "I know your face was red as a cherry" She laughed and I took a deep breath knowing this was going to be a long school year.

As the day went by I found all my classes good and they were all old ladys which I found annoying, but at least I have one cute teacher.

Then it was time for lunch I scanned the room looking for Anna then she scared the hell outta me when she yelled "Hailey!!" Right behind me. She was next to a tall skinny dark skinned male with green eyes.

"Oh hi Anna" I said smiling. "Hey girl! this is Marcus" She said. I smiled and said hello. I could tell he was gay by the way he talked and dressed. He reminded me of my old friend back when I lived in Texas and we used to play dress up together and he was halirious. I knew me and Marcus would get along fine.

We found an empty table and all down. A tall dirty blonde haired guy with bright blue eyes and he was very tan sat down next to Anna.

"Hi Aiden" She said rolling her eyes. "Hailey this is Aiden hes also my friend and he's super annoying" She said jokingly. He greeted me and I said hello. I could tell he had a thing for Anna when he kept staring at her and kept trying to have a conversation with her. But she kept ignoring him.

"So Hailey did you just move here? I never seen you in any of my past classes so I'm assuming you're new here" Anna said

"Yeah I am, I'm new to California I used to live in Texas" I explained. "Oh I've been to Texas A couple times it's very beautiful there" She said I agreed.

The rest of the lunch went by pretty fast and we all introduced ourselves and learned more about each other. My next class was Chemistry with Anna And Marcus and Aiden had Art.

When I walked in the first glance I had was of this very tall muscular guy with jet black hair and beautiful ice blue eyes that almost looked grey he also had a lot of tattoos on his arm that made him even more sexy. I was standing there admiring him looking him up and down. "Earth to Hailey?" Marcus yelled I looked over at him and he caught me staring at him. Marcus walked over and stared at him with me.

"That there is Myles Richard. He's got to be one of the sexiest guys in our school." Marcus said. "I can tell, I'm at lost of words" I said still looking at him drowning at the look of his body.

"As much as I would like to stand here and admire him with you we need to sit down" Marcus Said laughing. We walked over to Anna at a circular desk with four chairs. "What were you guys looking at?" Anna asked "Oh we were admiring Myles aka Hailey's new crush" He said while smiling and I blushed.

"Ooo she must really like him she's blushing awww" Anna said and they both were making fun of me "Quit it guys it's not like he's gonna notice me so you guys aren't helping" I rolled my eyes smiling.

Myles was sitting on a table and flirting with a random girl. Which kinda made me jealous but I got over it quick considering he could be a jerk for all I know.

Mr. Yales got up and started his introduction for his class. "Myles take a seat now and leave the poor girl alone." Mr. Yales said. Myles got up and looked around the room "There's no seats left sir." "Yes right next to miss Hailey" Mr. Yales said and pointed to the seat next to me. Myles quickly sat down.

The whole table looked at him aka me, Anna, Marcus and now Myles. He looked at all of us and especially at me. "So you're Hailey right?" Myles asked and I nodded shyly. "You don't have to be shy around me I don't bite... Unless you want me too." He said and winked, which made me blush and Anna and Marcus stared in amusement.

"You're pretty cute Hailey I just might have to keep an eye on you" He said with a grin. "Actually as much as I'd like that, I'm not gonna be one of your fuck buddies because we both know you would want me just for that.'' I said confidently. Anna and Marcus stared at me with their eyes huge.

"Whoa there princess, scratch that for you being shy. You're an independent little thing aren't you?" Which only got me more aggravated. "Uh excuse you I am not a thing so you can shut the hell up for once." I said with a death stare.

"Okay okay sorry." He said, I just rolled my eyes and ignored him for the rest of the class and he kept looking over at me which made me look at him with the expression 'what the hell do you want?' Yet he still kept doing it.

After the bell rang we could finally go home. I had to walk home because the only days my mom picks me up or drops me off is if it's an emergency or the first or last day of school. I said my goodbyes to Anna, Marcus, and Aiden which they all ride the bus.

As I was walking home I felt like I was being followed and I looked back at guess who... Myles. "What the hell?" I whispered to myself which I guess he heard because he said "Don't worry princess I'm not following you I live right here." as he pointed at the house right next to mine! "You have to be joking." I said with a straight face. "What's wrong?" He asked confused. "You live right fucking next to me." I said with the same expression. "Wow well you better not stalk me and look through my window then princess." He said as he winked and he walked to his front door with a grin. I rolled my eyes and walked into my front door.

This is going to be the worst four years of my life. I thought to myself.
