Drifting Perception
September 4, 2019
My mind, a chaotic mass of tissue
always strays to the earth;
Where the land and sea meet
To create a beautiful symphony of chaos,
And the divine nature of moss
There stood a Caribbean of emotion.
My mind strays to the species,
Who swim, walk, and crawl upon our earth
And the ecosystem diminishing,
But do the beauty in these fins
Out way our sins?
My mind strays to the waste
That pollutes the ground we walk on;
the withering trees preventing us
from taking our everlasting breath
and now let us become death.
