The Hallelujah Praise series, Book 2: His Eye Is On the Sparrow

All Rights Reserved ©

Summary

Autumn has begun, and Pastor Isaiah Johnson is grateful for the restoration of his youngest daughter Denice. He and his committee search for a certified contractor to help with their church renovation as the congregation strives to raise enough money to pay the expenses. But things get harder as he tries to help his middle daughter Chandra, who after being peer pressured into 'academic doping' during college had fallen downhill in drugs ever since. Now she’s a cocaine addict, which Isaiah and his wife Cordelia had lost track of overtime. A surprise visit by her leads to a journey of recovery, but after two failed attempts of rehab, will Chandra finally get clean and sober? Or has she come to steal money from the church again?

EPIGRAPH

Why should I feel discouraged?

And why should the shadows come?

Why should my heart feel lonely?

And long for heavenly home

When Jesus is my portion?

And my constant friend is He

You know, his eye is on the little sparrow

And I know he cares for you and me

His eye is on the little sparrow

And I know God is watching over you and me

I sing because my soul is a happy

I sing because I’m free

For His eye, it is on the little sparrow

And I know He’s watching over you and me . . .

How could Tristan have been dreaming about his mate since he was a child if Omara was already mated to someone else before him? If Kyle had accepted Omara, would Tristan ne...

OamisAL: It’d been quite a while I read romance and love stories so I’m glad it’s this one I came across first. Very steamy and dreamy in places and my heart jolted with pain in places too. It’s also quite realistic and can very easily be a tried story. Well done for the imaginative understanding of the comp...
