Chapter 1

Okay, I can say it all started when my mom and dad met and fell in love, then decided to have me. But no! That’s not exactly what happened.

Don’t get me wrong they did fall in love, but you probably read that part wrong so let’s rephrase, it all started when my dad was horny as f-frogs, and decided to go to a bar. That’s when he saw her, a woman with long raven like hair, huge beautiful brown eyes, plump pink lips, and an aroma that could purify even a demon.

So, he went over to her and asked for her name, “Amber” she answered, and like a ‘gentleman’ he gave her his name.

”Clyde.” It would've been a better story if my parents turned out to be Bonnie and Clyde, but that's not what happened. They began talking, laughing, and ultimately enjoying each others company, it's like they truly did fall in love with each other in a matter of moments.

And we all know what happened next, my dad took my mom to his room, and they had sex all night long, and like a stereotypical man who makes a bad rep for the rest; my dad left a note saying he enjoyed himself, and he left not a moment later, just seconds before the sun began to rise.

And as this typical story goes on, yes my mom became pregnant, and my dad knew.

Clyde SilverRose, the name of a demon. And no not figuratively, my dad was a literal demon, in fact, the demon of all demons. And he knew my mom was pregnant, but he never came back for either me or my mom.

My mom’s best friend whom I call Aunt Brit, was a detective who vowed to find the ”Son of a Bitch” who ruined our lives. And indeed he did, who knew that if a human becomes pregnant with a demon child, the human has a decade to live as that was the amount of pain the demon child brought.

My mom died of constant blood loss 10 years later, and I was given to my Aunt Brit who took me in as her own child.

And my name is Noel SilverRose...

Biva: Quite good for a novella. Impressive writing style and we'll edited. Just one thing- Karla keeps referring herself to a stray cat and while at first it makes sense the analogy gets stale after a while.
