Summary

Hundreds of years ago, most humans claimed to have different powers due to unknown cause. But as the humans turned into a more beautiful, smarter being, technology advanced and beliefs societies accepted in the ancient times slowly dissolved. Later, those who claims to use extrasensory perception (ESP) to identify information hidden from the normal senses were named ‘psychics’ and called their alleged power ‘psychic ability’. Though many people believe in psychic abilities, science and most people fail to acknowledge it for there is no concrete proof of the existence of such powers, describes the practice as pseudoscience and attributes to intentional trickery or to self-delusion. Alain was born as the granddaughter of psychic Cassandra Cayce. Following the death of her mother, her father forced her to cut all ties with Cassandra, moved to a new town, and taught her to believe that her grandmother is a fraud. At 19, Alain discovered that she had inherited her grandmother’s psychic abilities. Due to her abilities, she has become the chased prey of monsters she thought were fictitious. In danger, she stubled upon Faulene and Roshane – hunters – that helped Alain. With that, she knew turning back is not of the option but to unravel a whole dark other world with her new found companions.
