Painful
It's not supposed to be this way,
I have fought my whole life,
Wondering if it would ever get better.
I finally saw the light, met the man
I was supposed to be with,
But now I fight, and fight,
For someone to hear me.
I am supposed to be happy,
Loving my life after all the darkness,
Being free and enjoying who I am now.
But everyday, I fight for my sanity,
I fight for someone to hear me.
I can barely walk,
Im in pain everyday,
It seems to me that at my age,
Someone would listen,
Want to find the problem.
Every step I take is so painful,
Sitting and sleeping are hardly an option.
I only hope this new set of doctors,
Will want to find out what is wrong with me,
Because it's just not supposed to be this way.
I'm 40 years old,
And i suffer everyday,
For reasons that should have been addressed,
4 years ago.
