Chapter one~ life as Layla
As Layla stared up into the dark blue sea of her thoughts she realized it would be harder to swim away than she thought. That day Layla realized in school , that it wasn’t The teachers she disliked or the kids that bullied her. The reason she hated school and dreaded going was that she knew her thoughts would get her and that s he would soon drowned in them. Layla worked hard at the fishmarket downtown, MAYS, she worked five days a week and was swamped in school work. Layla hated how she felt sad and overwhelmed all the time, but she knew she had to work for her family. Layla and her sister where ten years apart and Layla took care of her everyday.
