Prologue.
I wasn’t the one he threw away and the one that didn’t care about,
but the one he lost.
Similar to the starlight that hides behind the clouds,
His eyes were blinded by the thought of power and pride.
If we would have met destined with love,
how wonderful it would have been.
I wish in my next life I meet you again,
but that time with the fate of love.
Maybe the distance of heart was greater than,
the story we would have made became,
..............The one, that got away.
She was the one that got away and he promises himself...
He willing to bring her back if fate decided to put our path together, with us meeting each other, he will never let her go.

She didn’t know which fact was hard to swallow... or the fact her consort and the current guy who she is kind of dating, are sitting together in the same dinner table, but all of them are acting like it’s nothing abnormal.

This is a stereotypical story. The story takes place in India and U.S.A, so you will be coming across some words which are in Hindi, Marathi, and some more Indian languages due to majority of the characters in the book are Indians.
