My name is Brooke Lynn Winters. All of my "friends" call me Winter or Brooklyn. I'm cool with whatever. And by whatever I mean whatever.

"Brooklyn! There you are!" My number one minion called.

"Hey!" I said and jogged to her. When I got there I took a long look at my best friend.

She has really blonde hair, emerald eyes, and pale skin. I found her at American Eagle... She was trying on new skinny jeans and I was trying on a new crop top. We took one look at each other and I helped her pick a cute halter top to go with it and she gave me a hot mini skirt. Her name is Jade if you didn't catch it.

"Thot!" Some random dude screamed at me.

"Go suck a dick!" Jade called back.

"J, shh. I think he's actually gay!" I laughed.

"Even better." She smirked.

"Naughty girls," Emerson said coming up behind me. He made sure to hit my long red ponytail.

"Emerson." I scolded. "Must you always pick on us girls?"

Jade raised her perfectly plucked eyebrow at us.

"So girls and Son, did you hear what Maribella just did?" Ella giggled running into Jade.

Jade snarled but let the threat hang.

"What'd Mari do?" I asked getting ready to send my blast out.

"She was caught making with the French exchange student... Jean-Paul, I think." The brunette's eyes lightened a little.

"What!" Jade screeched. "Jean-Paul is yummy. Why is he not all over me instead of Maribella!" She looked ready to cry.

Ella shrugged.

"Maybe exotic go exotic," Emerson said trying to make Jade feel better. He was referring to Maribella's Spanish heritage.

"How do you say slut en Espanol?" I giggled.

"Puta," Ella said looking at Mari. She blinked and then realized.

"Fuck off, Ella! I'm not a puta. Get a life, perra." Her face was all red and blotchy.

"She just called you a bitch, E." Jade said mouth wide open.

"Just leave it," I said texting. "And, sent."

BLW: did you hear? jean-paul is going spanish? he was caught making out with maribella (the espanol puta). when maribella knew jade was all about jean-paul. jade had dibs and you dont fuck with dibs. now im telling all of you, dont fuck with maribella.

"Oh my God," Emerson rolled his toffee eyes. "you just destroyed Maribella's life. It was hot, I love watching you get all bitchy."

I smirked and linked arms with Jade and Ella. "Come on girls, lets hold court at the steps this week. Bye, Emerson."

We walked off, leaving the golden retriever boy standing with his gorgeous head cocked.

"God! Emerson's so hot!" I heard a freshman whisper to her friends.

"Jackie! Shut up, Brooklyn is right there! She's going to destroy you now, and if she does, you know I'm team Brooklyn." Her one friend shrieked.

"Please," The Jackie girl scoffed. "Brooklyn won't do anything. Watch." All of a sudden I felt something hit me.

My friends dropped my arms and I turned to see the freshmen. Right as I turned she spilled her coffee all over my new sweater, and finished dumping her friends' coffee on my hair and Prada bag.

"Name," Was all I got out before the rational friend ran up to me.

"Her name is Jackie Robins. I'm Clara Jones. The other two girls are Sal and Emmie Kollas, I think they are on your side, right girls?" Clara shot a panicked look at her friends.

The other girls looked at the ground and Jackie smirked.

I looked down at them and walked away. As soon as we were out of earshot I whispered to Jade and Ella.

"El, I need you to get some of the other girls and let them know Jackie Robins started a war. Jade, you better get every little detail you can about all of those girls, and rally Clara to our side. We'll meet at lunch, don't bother coming if you don't have your tasks completed. If you finish early, come back and I'll give you more." I turned and slammed into Emerson.

"Shit, I'm sorry, Em. There's a lot going on-"

"I know, you have a war to win. Didn't know I was worth fighting over." He grinned.

"How did you know?" I asked him.

"Jade texted me. She asked if some freshman named Clara ever went up to me, and even if she didn't if she could say she did." Emerson shrugged and pulled me into him.

"Em-" I choked out. "Let me go."

He released me and gave me a wounded expression. I knew that it seemed like I was being a bitch, and it's true, I was. But, Emerson and I were just friends... Right?

"Why are you starting a war for me if you don't even want me?" He asked the one question I was dreading.

"Because," I started but quickly got distracted by a text from Ella. "Look, I'll tell you later, Ella needs me. I'm sorry, Emerson."

He shrugged and walked away with a hurt look painted on his face.

El: hey, big news! i recruited some people! some of them are freshman from her group. others are your other minions/fellow pops. and, i got emerson on our side! i have no idea where jade is at in her research but im done, unless you want me to find more. but, i can take on multiple j0bs at once! -el <3

I wasn't sure how to respond so I started looking for her.

"Ella, come out wherever you are." I whispered to myself as I looked for my friend's dark brown head.

"Oh look, it's the big bad Brooke Winters. Here to start another fight with me?" I heard a familiar voice taunt.

"Hi, Liza." I said flatly.

"Ah, that's where you are wrong, Winters. Only my friends can call me Liza. You have to call me Queen Bee," She smirked. "And, if you do that, I may consider forgiving you."

I scoffed and walked away. I couldn't believe her, who did Liza think she was, coming back thinking I would forget what she did, and who.

"Ella!" I exclaimed and ran up to my friend.

"You'll never guess who's back!" We said at the same time, both of us wearing the same dark expression.

"Get the girls." Was all I said before turning to secure our spot.
