Prologue: Caroline
Before I start telling this story, I should tell you something.
Myself and Jack (you’ll meet him shortly) are the reason this story even exists.
I’m a cupid-in-training, as is he. Our job is to make sure two people destined for each other get together, like in the case of Reese and Augustus.
In order to become true cupids, we needed to set up three couples, and these two were our last (and most difficult) to do.
Our instructor was Cupid himself, but one of our other mentors was Zeus.
I must be off now, but enjoy reading this story.
