She said I was enthusiastic and a fool. I told her if what I am feeling now is the perk of a fool I want to be a fool for life. She smiled for a second, but then it was all gone. “I want time. We are going too fast.” I nodded.
Days go by, and as I am thinking of you, I let out a small sigh. How fast we changed from ” I miss you baby ” to ” Screw you. ”
But you know what? I choose to be a fool, an unconventional guy, someone with enthusiasm. And I want to thank you for that. You showed me a feeling that I couldn’t handle at the start, but now I know. And as the years go by and as the leaves on the trees change color.
