Prologue

It got bored one day. It had been walking leisurely in the middle of No Where for...Proper time didn’t mean anything to It. It wanted to see more and it desired something. So it made everything, the stars and the sky and fills it with large rocks close to the star.

Over time the rocks that were the right distance from the stars started changing. They sprouted life and infinite numbers of unknown races were born. Some races grew faster than others but all lacked purpose.

As a result It establishes a test for the mortals of each world where three winners would be selected to become beacons of hope and progress. The trials were deadly, and no one that entered ever returned, unless they ascended to divinity and then the temple of their choosing Balance, Chaos, or Neutrality disappeared.

Once chosen it was the gods’ place to steer the people to the future. It was a very curious one, and he wanted to know things that only time could tell, but It did not like losing its races.

If the god’s blunder and an event caused the world to end or devastate it, It steps in and sends in ones identified as the travellers.

The travellers a special team that have powers sometimes even greater than that of the gods. These Travellers get sent back to before the key event occurred and try to change the course of history. Sometimes the god that caused the event will try interfering to try to get a new posting at a different planet.

The benevolent gods could watch but they could not interfere. They, after all, caused or could not stop the other from causing the event, so It deemed that interference would be punished. It has a very large imagination, so the gods never got the same punishment instead, It made almost as much sport out of the gods as they did the Travellers.

The last Travellers had completed their last event and were allowed to go to the blessed realm and live out the rest of their unnatural lives. The group was bidding It goodbye and as they left, two me steped up and unanimously passed a large tome to It. The tome changed and became a gorgeous woman with long raven hair and a sparkling blue dress.

The attractive woman smiled graciously at It and also when through the grand portal to the blessed realm. Once she had left, a new figure had appeared from No Where.“What is the meaning of this?” The deep masculine voice suffused the room. It merely stared and then Mesogalara instantly realized what was going on and before he could reasonably object he instantly disappeared. Why much they always be extraordinarily difficult?

The zatorian

jo987_123: This is a good story, but it needs a good editor to go through this iteration and fix the mistakes. The pov changes from 1st person to 3rd person, often, and sometimes within one sentence. It needs a liberal sprinkling of punctuation marks throughout, and a decision needs to be made about the char...
