NAZI RULE
As the cold weather reached across Europe in 1944 , Nazi Germany began to loose ground on the Western band Eastern fronts.
On June 6th 1944, American , Canadian and English armies invaded Normandy and by the fall of 1944 were close to crossing into mainland Germany.
On the Eastern front, Soviet Union troops had just taken Warsaw Poland and we're moving fast to the west.
Adolf Hitler spent hours in Berlin giving orders for army groups that no longer exist or never did.
A change needed to be done.
On September 23,1944 a change was made.
Adolf Hitler was arrested and replaced with Field Marshall Rommel.
The new Chancler of Germany, Chancler Rommel was announced on German radio on he night of September 23, 1944.
