New Beginnings
“Mags save me please?” Somebody cried out in agony to me. But no matter which way I looked I could not find them. It was pitch black in this room I was in it didn’t look like anything I had ever seen before. But yet it looked so familiar suddenly all I heard was this enormous loud beeping noise.
“What?” I replied as I woke up. Oh must have been a dream. Why have I been having similar ones tho? As I got out of bed I grudgingly walked my way towards my bathroom and quickly stepped in the shower.
“Mum where’s my cereal?” I heard a little voice call when I got into the kitchen.
“It’s right there you twirp” I replied grabbing Reese’s puffs off the top of the fridge and handing it to my 6 year old little sister Kiresta. Yeah I know weird name for a child but whatever.
Ignoring me Kiresta sat at the counter and stuck her hand in the bag and grabbed a handful of cereal and putting it in her mouth. Grabbing a bowl and milk I poured some cereal for her. Then went to make my chocolate banana protein smoothie.
Heading back upstairs once I cleaned up mine and Kirestas mess in the kitchen I went and put on my new school uniform. I just moved to the states from Australia since my father died 3 months ago. Then I brushed my hair which was a buzz cut on the side but long lushish locks that went all the way to my butt. I mean I wouldn’t call myself ugly by any means but I certainly wasn’t the most gorgeous woman to ever grace people’s presence. My dad was half black and half Hispanic and my mom was half Australian and half scottish. Even though I’m mixed I have a strong Scottish accent dispite living in Australia for 13 years of my life.
“I’m leaving mum!! Luv you” I replied as I grabbed my plaid print backpack off an empty box and running out the door.
