Prologue
Abby, Abigail and I were hanging out in the training field with some of the other warrior angels. When I see a very ticked off Gabriel walking towards us form the other end of the training field, with our parents following close behind.
“You three will be banished down to Earth.” I know we weren’t the first Angels to be kicked out of heaven, but I didn’t understand why WE were now being banished too, we haven’t done anything.
“Wh- Why? What Have we done?!” Abigail yells at him, her eyes glowing out of anger and fear.
“Is not what you girls have done,” He says looking at me briefly, then he turns and looks at our parents, “It’s what they have done.”
“They’re our daughters and the best warriors you guys have had in awhile!!! You can’t do this to them or us!!” My father yells, eyes brimmed with tears except we can’t cry.
“This is your punishment for having disobeying our Father and speaking to the fallen angels, without our consent.” Gabriel roars, his wings spanding their full length.
“But that was us not them!!” Abigail’s mom screams
“THIS IS YOUR PUNISHMENT!! FOR WHAT YOU HAVE DONE!!” Gabriel’s voice booms throughout the training field, everyone turns to look at us. I watch him closely and realize he is angry that isn’t good.
“When do we leave?” I ask without feeling in my voice, the girls look at me like I am crazy. I’m not I just know that at any minute Gabriel will lose his cool and do something that won’t be accepted by our people.
“You will all leave in 3 minutes,” He says while looking at me with eyes full of sadness for what he has to do. “So say your goodbyes.”
We said our goodbyes to the people closer to us, then we go to our parents hug and kiss them. We don’t say anything, what could you say? ‘Hey is fine, we are only going down to Earth.’ or ‘I forgive you guys, we understand why you did it.’ We couldn’t say either of those things, because they weren’t true and we are terrified of what is to come.
“Is time, are you girls ready?” Gabriel says walking and putting his hand on the small of my back.
“As ready as one can be.” We reply in unison.
“If you are strong enough, you will remember everything that has happened here, keep your powers, and keep your wings. Otherwise you will loose everything.” He says eyes trained on me, begging me to remember.
“We already have in a way.” We say together again, and grab each other’s hands and hold each other’s hand in a death grip.
“Goodbye.”
That’s when the Heavens opens up under us and we fall through holding on to each other.
“Goodbye Heaven!! Earth here we come!!” We yell. Then black out.
