New to a school, New to the country, New to a different life. Jayda James is a sixteen year old girl that had to learn how to adapt to a new life living in the U.S.A while trying to fit in to a school not letting anyone Know that she is illegal. Jayda has enough problems that she can handle but as time goes by she begins to question her sexuality as soon as she laid eyes on Anastasia Santos. Will the way Jayda view the world change because of the little crush she have?

"Jayda tomorrow is the first day of school why are you still up?" My mom said while entering my room.
"Mom I still have to make my playlist for tomorrow plus even sleep before their first day at a new school?" I said
"Well I want you asleep by 11 PM."
"Okay mommy "
"Good night "she said as she was leaving the room and didn't close the door. I hate that like, if you see the door closed when you came in at least close the door when you exited.
"Good night mommy love you!" I yelled as I got up to close the door."
"New school new me " I said to myself. Who am I kidding I'm still going to be invisible and I like it. No matter where I go I will still have the same personality .
Honestly I don't like school. However other people think that I like school because I have A's and B's. I just want make my mom proud.
My mom and I came to the United states because she got a job in a newly developed hospital in Florida. My mom has really worked hard to become a doctor. I'm so proud of her but honestly I am a little bit sad and angry that I had move from Jamaica to the United states. My mom and dad are not together. They broke up when I was in the 4th grade and I'm an only child .
I looked at the clock and I realized that it was 12pm. I quickly packed my bag and put my phone on the charger.
My hell awaits...
