Lee Jiyeon is a young justice lawyer who believes that victims deserve justice.

Two years ago she was battling her first case for a young teenage girl who was raped by a man (in his late 20s). Unfortunately she lost the case due to the court siding with the rapist.

As soon as she lost the case, her parents felt embarrassed and humiliated. They couldn’t bear the shame so they ousted Jiyeon from the house.

With no other shelter, she moves to a different city called Seoul, to be away from her hometown and away from all the degradation she was receiving from her parents.

Two years later, she hears a case about a boy named Jeon Jungkook — who is accused of murdering a 5 year old girl. All allegations point to him. However, Jiyeon has a strong feeling that Jungkook isn’t the murderer but thinks someone else is.

Knowing this is her first ever murder case, she wants to win, whatever it takes — to bring justice for Jungkook and the little girl.
