Dirty Cop
My Fist collided with his jaw as his head jerked to the let side from the impact. "Tell me where he is Kenny or I swear my bare knuckles will love to but on some jewelry just to mess up that pretty little face of yours." I seethed with anger at the thought. Kenny smiled a bloody smile before I backed away.
" I knew you didn't have it in you! Em don't fool yourself... Just because your a cop and your mom was there leader doesn't mean you have to be dirty... come on let me go... you know I can't tell you who did it."
At his words I looked over my shoulder as I slid on a spiky chain around my fingers and held a knife in the other hand. "You know I can't let you go. And if you think I'm being dirty cause I have to... you thought wrong... now I'm going to ask One more time... Who Murdered My mother? Who Hired them?" I grabbed his chin and looked into his terrified grey eyes as his lips trembled.
"I-I C-Can't S-Say..." I Raised my fist and slammed the spikes into his rib cage with as much force as I could handle. He screamed in agonizing pain knowing that wasn't my full strength. I continued to hit him over and over and over again. Kenny was my trainer He knew my punches knew my weaknesses. He taught me everything I know.I was- Am the best fighter in Mineral point, Wisconsin. He knew and his loyalty to the Black Spades was beginning to crack from the loyalty He served my family... Well Me since everyone else was gone. My dad is still alive but moved out of my life when I was 2 and never reached out... My older brother was murdered along with my mom. He was protecting her. I've spent almost a year trying to figure out who did it and why. My mom Might have been a ruthless Leader But it was because of my Grand dad. He was in the gang from a simple dealer and worked his way up to the top. He taught my mom everything since she was his only child and she took over when he passed away. My brother was suppose to take over. it was suppose to stay in the family. our own wicked family business. But I knew nothing about it so I let Alex and his family take over. Alex was my brothers best friend. I look out for them and they look out for me, it's just how our lives worked out.
"FREDRICK!... His name was Fredrick Oliver... That's all I know I swear. Please Em... Enough"
His left eye was swollen shut with cuts above his eye brow and his lips were puffy and busted. His ribs had to be broken from the force I continuously used on him and his hands had rope burn around them from where I had tied them so tight around the back of the chair. and The knife I had earlier was plunged deep into his thigh. I couldn't remember why I put it there Because of all the anger I had towards him. He's been there for me this past year... but the whole time was lying straight to my face so yeah I was a little upset...just a little.
I looked over at Alex who's light grey button down shirt was rolled up to his elbows as He took a step forward to him.
"I really appreciate you telling her who did this Kenny." Kenny looked horrified knowing what was coming. we all knew what was coming. you snitch you die. but Alex didn't know anything and he let him snitch because He wants the killer off the streets as much as I did. nobody wants to die. "But you know the rules. You will be missed. Don't worry I'll make this painless as possible. You might be dying a traitor but your also dying knowing that Emily is that much closer to finding the killer. Thank you Kenny." and with that he snapped Kenny's neck.
"Thank you Alex.... I know this wasn't easy-" I started to say but was cut off by him. "I would do anything for you Em. and I mean anything. You look out for me and I Look out for you. Now go get that Fredrick Oliver." I smiled up at him. I might have been 5'5 but Alex was a good 6 ft. his lovely blue eyes gazed into mine as he pulled me into a giant hug.
"Say hello to Leo for me."
"Will do. I'll catch you later Alex." I smiled over at him while walking to my grey Camry. I sat there for a moment before deciding what to do next.
