Chapter 1 Moving to New Jersey

Everyone has a dislike. Everyone has a problem. Everyone has a moment there dislike becomes a problem.

I don’t have a lot of dislikes, but one of my worst dislikes is moving, it makes me feel, new, in a bad way. I really have no clue how Diana handled it. Diana is my “older” sister, though she acts no older the me. She absolutely had no problem moving from her old school, the school I’m in, to a brand new highschool. But moving schools is barely as hard as moving STATES. I’m moving to New Jersey. I have to because my Dad found a brand new job there.

See, I live in New York. Not to far, it seems about 1 hour till I get there. I hate having to move more then 30 minutes away. I guess I have no choice.

When I was little my Mom used to tell me stories about Grandma. Grandma Ana. Grandma Ana, who we all call Ann, had a mother named Laura, who wanted her to take over her bakery, called John’s bakery, because that was her last name. Ann wanted nothing to do with it. She wanted to become a dancer. My Mom said she went to the forest to dance alone.

She apparently found a strange girl sitting behind an old tree. She was clapping. She said “what beautiful dancing!” “If only my Mom agreed.” Said Ann. “She wants me to become the head of her bakery, but I never found interest in that.” Ann was curious about the girl so she asked what her name is. “My name is Eve.” Said the girl. “But that might change soon.”

My Mom never finished that story, because we had to go to my Uncle’s birthday party.

I was packing when I found an old doll in my closet that belonged to my Grandma. I started wondering where she got it from. I went to my Mom and said “where did Ann get this from?” My Mom looked and replied, “she probably got that from Eve.

As we were in the car, I took a nap. I was tired of worrying and needed to sleep. Looks like I won’t be getting there for a while. When I was asleep I had a dream. I can’t remember much, but I think it was about Ann. Ann lives in New Jersey, and always had. I wonder how long I’ll be here, maybe forever.

When we got to the new house I looked around, it was decent, but not at all close to my old house. I choose to deal with it though. My Mom was looking at the pictures she was unpacking. I saw them when I came over to her. They looked old, I bet it’s from when she was small.

Things can be disliked, but I better get used to this. For its only the beginning of this new move.
