Chapter 1: Life

Life. It has many different meanings. Some think of life in a more logical term while others like to think of life more in a religious term. Yet life is still a mystery to us. We do not know what life truly is, but we like to think we do, we come up with all kinds of different ideas for what life could be. But we can not truly define what life may be. To me, life is like a game, we are given different choices to chose from, and each choice affects the path we go down. We are then given a dice after choosing our choice, each day we roll this dice to see if misfortune will befall us or will we be safe for another day. Maybe we will even be fortunate enough to end up getting a lucky roll. So as you can see this little dice holds much more power than one would think it holds. This dice determines the fate we shall live, it could be an unfortunate accident, a loved one passing away, winning the lottery, or simply another boring day of work. It simply depends on the roll of the dice, because we cannot change the fate that has already been rolled. So life is simply one big game we are forced into the moment we are born. The only way to end the game is death, cause if you're no longer alive, how can you be a participant in the game of life. Imagine it like a dating sim, you are given different choices, picking certain choices will lead you down a specific character rout. But you also have to build up those characters' affection, depending on what you do you could either gain affection points or lose them. These points are like the dice, they determine if you will have a bad ending or a good ending in the game. Though that's just one of the ways I think of life because life can mean many different things, and there is no one way a person can truly define what life is.
