Prologue 1
Prologue :Welcome to Dystopia
Kiyarrah sat facing the fireplace smoking in its warmth smelling the wood burn , the wood harvested on her homeland .
It's true ,
Mythiopian wood had its own feel its own smell the resources of the land were as unique as the people on it . She thought as she blew out smoke inhaled from her cigar .
Unique is it not 10 different regions each region it's own culture and customs it's own rulers and own people who lived in harmony with all other Mythiopians .
All until that day .
The day of doom.
The day Utopians had arrived with their rules regulations customs and given us the so called gift of greed.
Greed for land .
Greed for gold.
And most importantly Greed for power
They taught us the perks of being rich and we learnt to build walls.
They showed us weapons we learnt to break walls.
She wondered if the Utopians had not raided these lands would the Mythiopians be uncultured beasts with no modernisation and education or would they be peaceful amongst themselves not torn to pieces by war .
Years of war .
The former was what her reading material for tonight suggested , would they be as rich as they are today she thought looking at the opulent luxury that she had to herself and also the cold metal of her gun that Kiyarrah's always carried with herself.
Her reading material tonight had provided her with many questions and what if's.
What if history had not taken its course as written .
It made her question her beliefs as people usually do when something is said with such conviction. Even if she knew this someone was extremely wrong.
Only what if .
Kiyarrah wished she knew.
The Longings of a desperate she thought cutting her train of thought .
"Longing does not get you anywhere child work does" said her mother as Kiyarrah realised that she had stopped working and was immersed in her thoughts.
But like all Mythiopians Kiyarrah also longed to be recognised and not scorned for being born in this beautiful land she hated being questioned for being a proud Mythiopian Questioned for her patriotism to her land and people . With this sad though Kiyarrah continued reading .
" Mythiopia, Utopia and Pylloria the three pillers of the modern world ," page 46 The Age of Modernity in Dystopia by Bishop Evans head reporter Times Dystopia as she read from the glossy magazine in her hand she heard her mother give a silent laugh .
A sarcastic laugh .
Kiyarrah was curious of her mothers motives but controlled herself from knowing them . She trusted her mother's judgement more than anything , but today even Kiyarrah was tempted her curiosity was so aroused as her mother who never taught her Utopian curriculum was making her read mainstream Utopian daily .
Meant for Utopian young adults .
A gossip column the entertainment of jobless Utopian royalty .
Maybe mother wanted to see how bad the educational institutions had gone in Utopia and felt bad for the Pyllorians who were forced to tolerate these texts .
Continuing "These pillars are most vital but the strongest of the three is Utopia being the father of the three nations the home of the Kapillo the most powerful of all Gifted the the kingdom.
Utopia is the ideal society neither too rigid and conservative as the Pyllorian nor blasphemous like the Mythiopian. Utopian women are bred to be gentle ladies in their truest nature are taught to be kind and forgiving never harming or thinking of doing so , their education is bestowed respective of rank so even the most common girl knows her place to the beautiful ladies of the court.
Utopian men are gentlemen and patriots to the Kapillo their sword is his to yield and his teachings are Utopian culture
The greatest and most illustrious in the world and this is what must be provided the upcoming generation to regulate the uncontrollable and unnatural urges of today's teens and young Adults homosexuality among males and losing ones virginity before marriage or losing it to someone other than ones husband usage of drugs ,widowed women today instead of mourning their beloved's death wish to remarry such incest !.
New generation is deteriorating by the minute the common girl today wants to be royalty and not take her place in the ranks of services to the better and more capable ladies , royal princesses instead of supporting their husbands abandon their duties in search of jobs like common folk doing work not ment for their small brains and gentle hands . If we don't curb the new age they may being about dusk in the age of the gifted and destroy our stable social equilibrium and God forbid our further generations become savages like Mythiopians . " .
Ignoring the sting she felt Kiyarrah continued but was stopped by the mother . Who to her surprise stepped out of the shadows with a grim expression .
" What did you learn from the text Kiyarrah"
A question indeed what she had learnt because previously what she had read questioned her most prominent moral believes .
How can someone be so stupid to believe this bullshit .
Well she did not know if to feel bad or laugh as the answer was crystal clear and ringing in her ears .......Utopians .
Exhaling audibly Kiyarrah answered,
"I have realised that the writer is working with a motive of creating Utopians out of Dystopians"
" This magazine was given off free to the common folk of Ozeraland and I believe it is their desperate effort to stop the women's employment movement . Men are held by their vow to the Kapillo and can be ordered to step down from well paying jobs but as women are free and the narrow minds of utopians do not think that they can bear the burden of a vow this is to descourage female employment in Utopia and prevent us the privateers from establishing business there"
" They fear us and are stupid enough to believe that a social pressure will work when women are hungry classic Utopian move"
Mother's face changed at these words from the grim look came a look of serenity not peace the serinity on the face of a queen that masked pride of a mother when her child had passed her test .
" Child some would say you are being bitter and judgemental of Utopians. They are making life easier for female folk"
" Society and it's ways in our world are as of today determined by the Kapillo who is a Utopian. Mythiopian ways suggest that women be equal as men but all beings gifted or not gifted must choose whatever path they wish and their nature urges them to follow . But today and for the last century the Utopians have conquered Mythiopia and Pylloria culminating us under the flag called United Dystopia but the leaders being the Kapillo only along with whatever royal family they are close to . The Kapillo of today inorder to reverse the damage today does not take part in politics directly but has control over the defence only . He has given social supremacy to the utopian king who is spreading such nonsense to curb us privateers from trade and he is not willing to pull down the trade barriers of Utopia . He is scared of our power and if the fact that we will prove that women are more than what they give us credit for"
Kiyarrah felt frustration clog her vision she was the head of the largest company in the world and hired only the competent . She has seen the wonders women have done working in the company and have not got an ounce of credit for doing so .
" Allow me mother let me prove those bastards wrong let me handle the situation in Utopia. I am capable of this job have faith in me please"
Her mother did not look at Kiyarrah she know her daughter's reaction she was her mother after all.
" I know my child"
"I will let you , but first tell me will always stand by your views Kiyarrah never forget to speak your mind or curb your actions . This problem is more deep-rooted than we think if you really want this to change we need to take more drastic action"
Slightly puzzled at the heavy words Kiyarrah answered with conviction
" Yes mother I will always remember always I promise . But there is nothing that can't be solved we can fund the retaliation troops soon women will be armed "
The queen looked into the fire as if she was for the last time remembering and reassuring herself but her impenetrable poker face give up nothing . Uttering only one syllable she continued staring
"Wrong"
