A Brief Insight

As of January 2019, social media, internet, and the news across the globe has been going wild. Why? Molestation allegations against the famous, and deceased pop star: Michael Jackson. The accusers: Wade Robson and James Safechuck. Both of whom had been friends with Jackson since a young age.

It's now almost ten years since the passing of Jackson, yet these two men choose now to come forth with their story. Their actions beg the question: why now? Do they feel safe now that their supposed molester has been dead and gone for almost a decade? Is this because of the #MeToo Movement?

Before we dive into Robson and Safechuck, there are necessary facts that need to be spoken about the precarious legal history of the King of Pop.

1993.

The first set of molestation allegations made by Evan Chandler for his son, Jordan Chandler against Michael Jackson. It should be noted that Jordan's parents were in the middle of a custody battle while Evan decided to file this accusation against Jackson. Evan Chandler owed a total of $68,804 dollars to June Chandler Schwartz in child support before he proceeded to obtained a lawyer according to the in-depth time-line found on themichaeljacksonallegations.com. Said lawyer was one of Chandler's dental patients, Barry K. Rothman. Here is how Chandler described Rothman in a recorded conversation between him and David Schwartz (Jordan Chandler's step father):

"this attorney I found – I mean, I interviewed several, and I picked the nastiest son of a bitch I could find, and all he wants to do is get this out in the public as fast as he can, as big as he can and humiliate as many people as he can"

Multiple children & their families Jackson spent time around were interviewed by investigators and police, one of those families was Wade Robson, his sister, and mother. In this interview, Joy Robson - Wade's mother - said the following:

"I've been there with them (in Michael's room). It's just party time. They watch videos, they eat junk food, they play video games... There's nothing more than that."

January 25th, 1994 - A settlement of $20 Million was made between Chandler and Jackson out of court against Jackson's wishes for the case to go to court. And on page four of the settlement paperwork it is printed clearly in black and white that this settlement was not an omission of guilt on Jackson's part:

"This Confidential Settlement shall not be considered as an admission by Jackson that he has acted wrongfully with respect to the Minor (it continues)... Jackson specifically disclaims any liability to, and denies any wrongful act against, the Minor, [blocked] or [blocked] or any other persons."

This was signed by both Jackson and Chandler.

This was a civil case - not criminal.

2005.

The only case that went to court dealing with another molestation allegation, this time by the 13-year-old, Gavin Arvizo. The claim was that Jackson sexually molested Arvizo from February - March 2003. The first line of Jackson's defense witnesses was Robson himself. The first witness called in a criminal case needs to be the strongest - you'd want them to be.

There are 3 major things that are looked and analyzed in any new criminal case:

-Hard Evidence

-Credibility of the accusers and the acusee

-Motive for accusation of either side; mostly financial

Now, what is hard evidence?

This is physical evidence and or proof that is found at the scene of the crime, wherever that may be, and must be verified by at least two other officials to be solidified in a court of law as legitimate (HG.org - Legal Resources).

The only, quote, unquote evidence found in the 2005 trial case was,

"...A couple of girly magazines with Jackson's finger prints on them..."

"Girly magazines" not "Boy or homoerotic magazines". This quote is taken directly from the closing statements of Jackson's lawyer, Tom Mesereau, of the June 3rd, 2005 trial transcript. On this same day, it was unanimously decided by the jury that Jackson was not guilty of all fourteen charges brought against him (2005 Allegations Timeline).

2019.

Now we have a documentary bringing two individuals and their own allegations to light after years of defending Jackson in and out of the courtroom. What changed? Why almost ten years after Jackson's passing?

Robson's story has changed over time - does your truth change over time? - once the first line of defense, then ashamed of the alleged abuse, next he stated he had repressed memories that resurfaced after two mental breakdowns, but the current version seems to be the most intriguing: Robson admits now he's always known what's happened, but didn't realize it was wrong. In the same breath, he states that Jackson told him to lie about what they were doing and that they would both go to jail if found out (mjinnocent.com). This directly contradicts what Robson recently replied with in an interview about the the documentary (VIDEO: Michael Jackson and Wade Robson: The Real Story).

The question: "...did you feel a sense of shame of what had happened between you and Michael?"

His reply: "No. I didn't, I didn't have any."

But yet he said he'd felt ashamed, and that's the reason he didn't come forward before...

Where did your shame go, Wade?

Shame doesn't disappear.

Robson has continuously referred to himself as "a master of deception", and if that's the case, was he lying on the stand in 2005 or is he lying right now? And if he was lying on the stand, then that means he's omitted himself to perjury voluntarily - a federal crime - after stating plainly when prompted that,

"...Michael Jackson never did anything inappropriate."

Like it or not, the media is biased, the world is biased. People can be purchased, sold, and used like toilet paper on a daily basis if you offer the right amount of money to the right person.

Why should the truth be hard to find in our lifetime when we have the power it make it otherwise?

Lies will always run sprints, but the truth runs marathons.
