"SPOILERS!!!! It's very rare as it is to find a free online book that is good. But this one blew me away (just gone two am writing this). There is a lot I really do like about this but the few points that I didn't understand did make it hard for me to see what was happening; A daughter to a crimelord- lots of money - people wanting to marry her to get it is understandable. Holding the daughter hostage is understandable also but only if the crimelord is alive :/ I'm just not so sure why so many people want this person dead when: she has no prior knowledge of anything, was not involved in any dealings, doesn't even have the last name and being an illegitimate child (unless a will is involved stating it be her the money goes to then again when he died she would have known) does not mean she will get a lick of money. Additionally, people trying to beat her or kill her doesn't make any sense! The dad's already dead and has been for half a year at this point. She had no stake in any business of his. The brothers: I don't know what's going on. Thomas did something not so peachy to Gabriel and therefore began a murderous vendetta claiming Thomas and then Myha.... Like it's not obvious enough I really liked this book, it was different than the typical genre to me. I really enjoyed learning about the female character (where did the baby come from and where did he go?? I thought that was hers the whole time). It's just what I explained above that drew me out. At the most recent chapter of 21-05-20 I had no clue as to the reasonings to anything."
