The lady of the moon

I remembered that night.

I remembered waking up suddenly and having the urge to go somewhere.

So I just got up, went out my window onto my roof and slid down the downspout. As soon as my feet hit the ground, I sprinted across the backyard, jumped over the fence and ran into the forest of the trees just behind my house.

And I just kept running.
