We thrive in the night,
but the light keeps us sane.
fading light,
darkness succumbs.
loss of hope,
only feeling numb.
Shining light,
has been ripped and torn.
Decaying light,
No time to mourn.
Can't save me now,
no longer in white.
Only seeing the darkness,
Unable to fight.
It drags me down,
Far, far below.
they tell me the light,
is my only foe.
I dread the light,
I fear the sun.
The darkness consumes,
and now my life is done.
