Book of The First Ones

In the name of The Yahel The Great Absent One, Most Gracious, Most Merciful, The Maker of all.

Hail to thee Yahel, the Cherisher and Sustainer of the three Realms;

Hallowed be thy name

Most Gracious, Most Merciful;

Master of the Beginning and the end, all that was and all that will be.

Thee do we worship, and Thine aid we seek.

Show us the right Path, lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

The way of those on whom Thou hast bestowed Thy Grace, those whose portion is not wrath, and who go not astray.

In the beginning there was nothing but darkness, but the absent one shed

Light, creating The heavens and the Realms, Asurruhe the heavenly realm of the gods, Asravyasta the accursed lower realm of all that is lost, and Ashsael the middle realm of mortals, Yahel gave birth to all elements, and provided them with order and function.

Through Yahel came the creation of the universe; all the energy and matter within it, as Yahel also gave them function and order from out of the chaos and disorder. Now Yahel's creation was in an ideal harmonic state and would be for a long time.

And Ashsael was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of Yahel moved upon the face of

the waters.

And The absent one said, Let there be light: and there was light.

And The great one saw the light, that it was good: and The holy one divided the light from the darkness.

And The merciful one called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night.

And the evening and the morning were the first day.

And the gracious one said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the

waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.

And the powerful one made the firmament, and divided the waters which were

under the firmament from the waters which were above the

firmament: and it was so.

And the almighty one called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the

morning were the second day.

And the wise one said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered

together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so.

And The kind one called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of

the waters called he Seas,

And The eternal one said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding

seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in

itself, upon the earth: and it was so.

And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his

kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind.

The Supreme One, brought forth Asurruhe, the realm of Yahel's presence the eternal flame, The Vedul, and Asravyasta, the realm of Yahel's essence the immeterial, The Gnosis, and joined them together to create the heavens. Now heaven was balanced, thus it will eternally shine, and from the eternal flame Yahel made the first angel Ŷmeir, the great builder of the heavens and the high servant of the Great One. And Ŷmeir was sent to the stars at the order of Yahel to await the return.

After Yahel was laid to rest and the Nine keeper gods we're fully formed from Yahel's presence, the keeper gods set out to be the stewards of the Absent one's creation, their first act was to weep tears while servant angels sang in choir in the Halls of the heavens to bless Yahel's purging, and from these tears lesser omnipotent gods called the Sacred were brought to life, the first of beings to be created from both Yahel's essence and presence.

The Sacred's purpose was to act as physical gods and the extension of Yahel's will in the middle realm of mortals, the first of the sacreds were the brothers Dyēus made from the will of Asuryan and Vertĥrgna made from the will of Mënshius.

Dyēus And Vertĥrgna were the first Spirits to enter the realm of Ashsael, therefore they had a physical form and were able to shed blood and die. The Gods also created Isharsaĝ, a female spirit, who was also sent to the realm of Ashsael and acquired a physical form. Through the will of the goddess Kuethra, she was to be the consort of both Dyēus And Vertĥrgna.

Humanity are the children of Danŭţ and Perkornus. In the early days, there was no barrier between Sacreds and Humanity -- the deities walked among Precursor Humanity, teaching them and leading them in an age of peace and prosperity.

In their moment of creation, Humanity were given one gift by each Sacred: Dyēus gave the children wisdom, so that they may know themselves; Danŭţ gave the children love, so that they may know one another; Aredvi gave the Children the Artifice, as a means to make their dreams realities; Srôshi gave the Children joy, so that they would be happy; Perkornus gave the children desire, so they that would prosper; Mithřa gave the Children foresight, so that they would know their place in the world; Vertĥrgna gave the Children anger, so that they may have a means to defend their gifts. And thus all of mankind was bestowed with the mantel of eight Gods.

Eldanŝ fell in love with Êrda, and she had eventually given birth to three daughters first and then three sons: Merria, Sâmusarn, and Elehayym. Seheranon Luminoth, Fryssun. Eldanŝ's six children eventually had children of their own, and those children also begot more children, and ultimately the realm of Ashsael was seperated into three tribes: the tribe of Seheranon, the tribe of Luminoth, and the tribe of Fryssun. Each of the Children of Danu were known by their mothers, the first Three Daughters.

In the name of the Great Life

the sublime Light be glorified.

From the Place of Light I have come forth,

from you, everlasting dwelling-place

From the Place of Light I have come forth,

and an uthra from the House of Life accompanied me.

The uthra who accompanied me from the House of the Great Life

held a staff of living water in his hand.

The staff which he held in his hand

was completely full of leaves.

He gave me its branches,

of which the ritual books and prayers were full.

Then he gave me more of them,

and then my suffering heart was healed.

My suffering heart was healed

and my world-shy soul found peace.
