Chapter 1:”A gift?”
I was in my room doing my studies,as my father was at work and my grandma is now at the grocery shop to get bread and potatoes for dinner.While they’re gone though,I’ll tell you a bit about myself.Hi,my name is Teddy,I am 12 years old and I’m a middle schooler.
My mother and brother died in a car crash when I was 10,I was very upset about that,I think that’s why my father has become more..mean.I still love my father with all my heart though.
“Teddy!” Teddys grandma was calling from the kitchen.
“Yes grandma?”
“Come help with the groceries,darling” his grandma responded.
“Coming!” said Teddy.

As Teddy was unpacking the bags,he saw a book.What was a book doing in a grocery bag?
“Grandma,why is there a book in the grocery bag?” asked Teddy.
“It’s for you,darling.I thought you would like it,it’s called “The time of the Pirates” answered his grandma
“Oh!Ok!Thank you grandma!”
