Chapter 1
My name is Jane. I had a lovely Family. My family was from France but we are living in America because my papa works here.
I got lovely maman and Papa. They love me so much. Maman and Papa will tell me bedtime stories in funny way. They will sing lullaby for me together. They will feed me food though I know how to eat. They will do their works from home so that I can't miss them.
When I am 6 I started to go to school. Maman and Papa are so stressed and tensed On my first school day. But I didn't. They kissed me goodbye and waited me for four hours. I said I'm happy in new school and I got more friends. They sighed in relief.
They will celebrate my birthday by calling all our neighbors. It will be like grand party. Maman and papa will say that I'm their princess. This is our happy life. My happy life stopped at that day....
We are going to France, papa native place, as my grandmother called us for her birthday. Papa playing songs from his car radio ,me and maman singing the songs. Suddenly there was a truck hit our car. It happened in a seconds and our car is burning. I called maman and papa they are smiling and said that "we love you princess now go jump from the car" said papa. "no papa I won't u both come with me "I cried hysterically by grabbing their hands like my life is dependent on them. Maman asked"princess will listen to me right?? "I nodded yes. "then jump princess. Remember we always love you"said maman.i am being stubborn "no I won't jump u too come maman and papa".papa called "OK come here princess " I gone to papa. They both grabbed me and thrown me with all their strength. I fell onto road. The car which maman and papa are there is bursted. "maman....papa... "I cried badly ..."MAMANNNNNNNN PAPAAAAAAAAAAA"
I was awaken by my frequent nightmare again."maman.. Papa I miss you both " with that I started crying thinking about them. I reached night stand for their photo which I kept there. I take that and stared my maman and papa.
After that accident,my relatives from France came here the next day.Finished all the funeral activities. I cried and cried and cried for the whole one month remembering them. I lived with my aunt and uncle.They took care about me very well. My relatives are such a good people. But not like my lovely maman and Papa. I missed them so much in everybody's love wrath. No one can replace their love. After I completed my studies I moved where I lived with my parents during my childhood. I moved here one week before. I came here because I applied job in Rick corporation Inc. As personal assistant for Shane Rick.
i don't have any boyfriends or friends after my parents death. Because I am scared whether I will lose them too. Many girls and boys tried to chat with me,have a talk with me. But I didn't respond to them. They thought that I'm stubborn,psychic.but inner side of me is very scared about relationships. Any relationship.
I can't able to sleep after the nightmare. Now the time is 4:30 am. Best time to jog. So I wear my sweatpants and T-shirt with blazzer and now I'm ready to jogging. I locked my home and started jogging.
It's early morning jogging time so I can see many people around here. Everybody said good morning to me. I just smiled and continued jogging. I increased volume in iPod. I love listening to music. Any kind of music. But I don't have my maman and papa lullaby. I miss it.
Shooting that thoughts away I continue my jogging by looking down. Suddenly I was hit onto hard chest and before I kiss the ground,large hands wrapped around my waist and protected me. I raised my head to see the person who saved me. "watch out girl" he said by panting. I just smiled and wriggled from his touch. He didn't leave me.
"no thanks uh?? " he asked me
"Th.. Thanks sir" with that I ran away. He asked my name but I pretended that I didn't hear. He chased me like I'm theif. I ran away very fast to save myself. When I turn and see there is no one. I sighed in relief and walked to Super market to buy some groceries. I met the same guy in the market.GOD..!WHY THIS IS HAPPENING TO ME.
"Hey girl why u ran away like that. You left your speedometer.here" he gave that to me. I just smiled.
"Hmmm.. What's ur name.. I can't call you girl right?? "he asked me
I politely replied "Jane aubrey it is"
"oh nice name.. My name is Terrence. I'm your neighbor here .I'm leaving the apartment next to your home" he said and I felt like a bomb exploded into my brain.
"oh.. Okay..! Then bye" with that I tried to leave but he grabbed my hands.
"why are you scared about me Jane.. We are neighbors right.. I didn't do anything then why you are scared about me huh??"
I took a deep breath... And I said all my past to him..
"I'm so sorry Jane.. I made you a cry mess.. I'm sorry "he pleaded after completing my past story.
" it's okay it's okay.. That's why I'm scared about any relationship. I don't have strength to lose anyone again."
"dont worry I will be very careful for my new friend okay?? " he asked me
"yeah" I smiled.
"so..... Friends?? "he showed his little finger to bond with my little finger.
"yes friends" I connected my little finger to him
I remember this little finger bonding with my maman and papa. They will too ask like this.
After years I made a friend for myself .
"so what are you doing now work or studies"he asked me
" I completed my studies. I came here for work. I applied for PA in shane cooperation "
" oh all the best cupcake " he hugged and kissed my forehead.
I felt the same warmth 10 years ago..
"thank you.. What's your name?? "I asked
He chuckled and said that "my name is Terrence. "
"oh"my mouth form an 'o' shape.
"Terrence it's time up.i have to ready for my new job. Shall I leave then?? "
"oh yes may I have your number cupcake?? "
"here" I gave my mobile.he typed his number and give missed call to his mobile.
"here cupcake. Don't forget to call me later. Bubye"with that he left
I made a friend finally....!!
I reached my home and went straight to bathroom for bath. Morning bath is heaven ..
I dipped myself into Jacuzzi which I filled with hot water. I am feeling refreshed. Then I scrubbed myself with loofah and milk scented body wash. I love this .After bath done I came to ready myself for my first day office. I selected an plain shirt and pencil skirt. With little makeup mascara, Kajal and lip gloss. With some perfume. Perfect
I gone to kitchen to feed myself. I cooked pancakes. I filled them with strawberry syrup. My favorite bf ever.
After completing that I left home. Grabbing my car keys I opened my new car seated into it and started my dear. Here I come rick cooperation Inc..
I hope so I will get the job
