A lady was standing near the window of her room lost in some thoughts when a man entered in room breaking her trance.

Man: Khushi

Khushi ( Daughter of Rohan Gupta and Prerna Gupta) turned towards the Man.

Khushi: Ji (yes) Boliye (Say) Rehan!

Rehan: Khushi! We are invited for dinner tonight.

Khushi: I don't want to go anywhere.

Rehan: Why?

Khushi: We have reached there sometime ago only, and there are many works to do.

Rehan: Come on Khushi! It's just a dinner.

Khushi: Please I don't have mood.

Rehan: But I want you to meet my new business partner as well My long time friend and his wife.

Khushi: But I don't want to meet anyone.

Rehan: Khushi why you always get so irritated? I just wanted my Wife to meet my Friend and his wife. What's wrong in it? Khushi kept silent in response.

Rehan(Sighed): Ok as you wish! But I would be happy if you atleast join us for sometime and he left from there.

Khushi Khurana slumped down on bed throwing the clothes Rehan got for her to wear tonight and started crying.

(Yes! Khushi Khurana wife to Rehan Khurana and once the loving daughter of Gupta's)

Khushi: I am sorry Rehan! There is nothing wrong with you but it's Me! You did just one mistake and that is marrying me, because however I try I can't be a good wife to you and she cried bitterly on her fate.

Both Rehan and Khushi reached to Rehan's Friend place and Rehan was really happy because Khushi accompanied him which she hardly does.

Rehan: Khushi! You know he's one of my best friends but unfortunately no one from us was able to attend each-others marriage otherwise you would have met you earlier. Khushi smiled at him fakely.

Khushi: You're talking about your friend from so long but you didn't told me his name.

Rehan: Ohh sorry! It's Ar.... and Servant opened the door for them.

Rehan(smiling): Now let me introduce to him directly, come and both entered inside.

Suddenly Khushi felt changed in the air, like she is close to something she was waiting from so long, or someone who'll fill the emptiness in her life and it really shocked her.

"How can she feel so much peace in some stranger's place?"

Her thoughts again broken by Rehan.

Rehan: Here he is My friend and he moves forward to meet his friend.

Khushi also turned to look at him and can see the back of the man, he turns a little and she got a glimpse of his side profile.

Her breathing hitched in her throat and her eyes refused to blink, looking at the most handsome and well-built man in front of her.

Rehan: He's my friend Arnav Singh Raizada, he told looking at Arnav who was now facing them still talking on phone.

But Rehan failed to see the change posture of his wife whose eyes was glued to Arnav with some unknown and strong expressions in her eyes.

Her heart started beating "Dhak-Dhak" for the man who happened to be her Husband's friend and Business Partner.
