L O V E : a four letter word shared between two people
I thought about what that means to me as I watched you sleep. Hearing your light snores and the city traffic through the night. As the moon light gleamed in through your window enveloping you.
I watched you sleep that night. Lightly tracing your nose and full lips, your thick eyebrows and smooth chocolate skin. I found comfort that night with you, but also the most purest form of intimacy. Without you even knowing.
I thought about our future that night ... my goals and your dreams. I wonder what would happen to us in the future. It never crossed my mind that I was still lightly tracing over you until I looked up. As chocolate brown eyes stared back at me I said it those four words “I love you” not expecting anything said back “I love you too.”
