First year at a new school
It all started on August 13, 2019. It was the first day of school and I was the new kid. "Ok class, welcome back. As some of you know, I'm Mrs. Nunez." The teacher said. "We have some new students this year, will you please stand up and introduce your selves?"
One by one, kids stood up and introduced themselves until it was my turn. I was never the one to speak in front of new people, "Ummm, I'm Victoria Tidwell." I said, standing up. "Where are you from?" The teacher asked. "Umm, Maynard Arkansas." I answered her, "Where is that?" She asked me. "It's near Pocahontas." She nodded and I sat down.
I went through that day real fast and didn't really talk to anyone but my brother. That day, I only made one friend, Bree. She reminded me about my old friends back in Maynard.
She was my closest friend for a while until one day, I was sitting in Mrs. Nunez's room waiting for my new schedule but she didn't have mine. "That's it?" The girl sitting in front of me asked. I didn't really know her that well except for that she had long blonde hair with blue tips. "Yes, if you still haven't got yours, you can go see Mrs. Lawler." The girl in front of me groaned. "I still haven't got mine either," I told her. She turned around to look at me.
After that day, somehow we became friends! And after a few weeks, we became close friends. Yes, we did eventually get our new schedules. But this is how everything started.
