In today’s world it isn’t uncommon to hear of people using psychedelic substances. It has become more and more normal over the past few years, with Denver even decriminalizing shrooms, or psilocybin.
As these substances grow in popularity, and the bad stigma around them begin to die out, it’s fun to theorize what’s actually going on.
I learned through one of Joe Rogan’s incredible podcasts that some have theorized these substances as letting us into other dimensions, allowing us to see higher intelligences and other worlds.
While these theories sound incredibly farfetched and out there, no one knows for sure. Scientists don’t even know. What we do know is that everyone has baseline brainwaves that are always there. You have them, I have them, it’s been proven. I don’t want to cite anything or fight about the subject so if you’re interested look it up your damn self.
With other ‘drugs’ these brainwaves are typically increased, with different synapses firing faster and differently than their base state. However, psychedelics, shrooms and DMT mainly, have been shown to decrease or even flatline these brainwaves.
This leads to a theory unknown by the general public.
One belief is that these normal, standard brainwaves are there to help keep us alive. They help to block out a lot of what’s happening around us because it’s simply too much. We wouldn’t be able to take care of ourselves and our children if we were constantly exposed to so much crazy shit.
With that being said, psychedelics neutralize the effect. They let us see more and more of the real world, of our dimension, of higher dimensions, of other realities. It’s fuckin crazy to think about, I know. But can you really deny it? Science hasn’t proven it, but it hasn’t disproven it either. That’s important to remember.
This theory is as good as any, as it provides explanation with detailed examples and peoples’ real experiences to back it.
Now, I know I sound like a nut job, but that’s okay. I’m a pretty fucked up individual as it is. I’m not saying that I completely buy into this theory, but I can’t deny it, and I believe it’s incredibly interesting and should be investigated further.
With all that being said, this is my first completed book. Well, first that I’ve felt other people might enjoy reading. Expect more, expect better. I’m not done by any means.
Keep in mind that this isn’t my usual writing style. I promise I’ll introduce you to my real self pretty soon, but for now please enjoy my retarded brainchild (I would apologize for my use of the word retarded, but if that offends you then grow the fuck up. It’s just a word. Ignore it if you need to).
