Who is he?
Chapter 1
It was a good evening and Kate was heading towards the beach. The cool wind of the breeze reached her hair as she was a mile away from the beach. She enjoyed the scenery of people enjoying their food and felt as if the setting sun was like a big tasty orange.
As it was evening, she thought of sleeping for a while and planned to go for a sprint on the morning nearby the beach. Thinking so, she went to sleep, taking out all her stress of school works, including the unexpected cheat on her by her trusted partner.
It was a warm morning and she was ready to take a walk near the beach after a nice good sleep. As she walked by the shores, she witnessed a shrill crying sound, as she followed the sound and started looking to the place where the sound came from, she saw it, and it was clearly there all injured.
She got a sense of kindness in her and by all means treated the whale with the help of the best vets in the town by calling them over to her place. The whale was being treated and all arrangements were done to leave it to the ocean by the next day. Arranging all the schedules for the departure of the whale she went to the room where the whale was kept and talked to it(She used to do it on each and every night the whale was in her place), she felt the presence of some strange powers and thinking it to be her imagination she slept off.
That particular night she had a dream, a dream wherein there was the whale she rescued, beside it there was a man with pitch black hair(The only thing she could remember), but, his picture was not clear, the whale said to her '' I will protect you forever! '' and the man beside the whale came to her and tied a shining blue necklace on her and vanished off.
She woke up and realized it to be a dream, but something more was awaiting for her. It was already noon and just then, one of her maid came in shouting and said"Mam! Mam! The whale is gone". Kate was shocked, when she went to the room and saw there was not a single crack or scratch on the glass where th whale was kept, but the whale was completely missing. She informed her maid to make sure that nobody else get to know about it.
She wasted all of her time thinking about where the whale was and then she noticed the necklace on her neck.She got up and bolted out towards the shore as soon as possible, the sun said it's goodbye and night approached, just then she saw a glowing figure far across the ocean, it was the whale, she felt as if she could hear it saying "I will protect you". As these words came out, she busted out into tears and screamed out aloud saying"PLEASE COME BACK! PLEASE! PLEASE!", but the whale sprinkled out some water on her as if to comfort her and went off.
She fainted on the ground crying and the next morning was on her bed, all safe and sound, but something was wrong and what was it?
