Such A Kitten

Imagine spending you're entire life indoors. Horrifying right. Yep that's how my whole life has been, indoors. The only time I spend outside is in school, and back home, but sometimes am grateful I have that one friend.

Genevieve Gordon. She's well like any normal teenager. Fun, go out to parties whether your parents want you to or not, and a complete blast to have around. She's has two boyfriends, Declan and Charles, their both quarterback, and to answer that question that has been burning inside of you. They do know that they are sharing the same girl. Weird I know, but that how they like it.

My life is different from your regular teenager, am always inside, and unless I want the anger of Dominic Graceson upon me, I do not attend parties am not supposed to. Dominic is my dad, or more like my guardian of doom. He never let me do anything close to lively, he will always say; Lo normal no está actualizado para ti mi amor(Spanish- normal is outdated for you my love). What does that even mean!!.

I haven't really introduced myself have I? My name is Fawn Graceson, and am a nerd, and sorta a loony. You see growing up without a mum hasn't been easy for me, dad doesn't want to discuss about mum, the only thing he tells me is that mum was a crazy person, and she died of cancer, and apparently I have the genetic marker for schizophrenia. I guess it's part of the reason daddy doesn't want me to associate much.

My vision blurrily, and tainted red,but am sure am in a castle. My feet bare and naked on the ground. The coldness of the ground punctures my skin like an arrow.

My eyes wonders my surroundings. The rainbow painting hung on the wall, the number of ceiling, and the absurdly large golden chair. I think it's a throne. My weak legs carried me closer to the throne, but my entire body stopped, at the sound of a voice.

"Welcome home Aine"

Though the voice is familiar to my ears, I am reluctant to turn, and see who speaks to me. Is it the fear that has over whelmed me, or the strange familiarity I seem to have with the voice.

I squeeze my eyes shut, and opened it, a long sigh escape my mouth. I turn around as slow as possible. My breath shaky, my vision still unclear, but when my eyes captured the one that spoke to me. It feel like am blown off my feet but am still here. Her eyes sky blue, her hair was extremely dark and curly, though her attire is baffling. How can one bee dressed in a sleeves yellow crop top, that covers only her chest, and a skirt that covers her entire waist a legs.

"Who are you?"

I asked warily.

A big smile emerged on her face, and she took a step closer to me, making me move away from her, but the further away I moved from her, the closer the moved to me. My feet twisted, and I landed hard in the floor. I started crawling away from her, even if I clearly know it's futile.

"Stop trying to get away Kovaa"

I stopped immediately after her words. What did she call me? Where do I know that name?

"Who are you?"

She bent to the ground, and pressed her lips together. I starred directly at her eyes, and they were so empty, and icey. Liquid started to gather inside her eyes. Is she about to cry? And for some reason it caused a pinch feeling inside me.

"You"

I Love Mondays. I know every normal teenager wouldn't but can you blame me, it's one if the only days of the week, that I get to spend time outdoors, even if it's school.

I came down stairs to inhale this Delicious scent. Pancake. I quickly ran to the kitchen, to see my dad flipping pancakes, with an apron wrapped around his waist. Awww.

"Dad you should shouldn't have"

He turned to me, ushering me the already made pancakes, on the kitchen counter.

"I know how you love pancakes Kiddo"

Ugh his been calling me that since i 2as a child, but am Seventeen now, he can't keep calling me that it's embarrassing.

"Stop calling me that old man"

"Old man? You wound me"

He says, clenching his chest jokingly.

Peep peep the bus horn blows. Time for school. Yaaa.

I stretch over the counter, and place a kiss on my dad's cheek.

"Bye dad"

"Bye kiddo"

I don't bother searching for a sit in the bus, cause I already know my place. I mean front sit, is with the cheerleaders, and trust me you do not want to be going there. Back sit, is with the Jocks, and that's just worse. So where do I sit? The middle, with my best and only friend, Genevieve. Genevieve is pretty popular herself. She made the Personality List as

Living Spring Academy Biggest Whore.

But I love her like that.

But don't sit at the left middle sit, with the Zantiny Twins, there's even bigger Nerds than Me.

"Uhm what are you doing?"

I asked Genevieve, who's plugging on ear piece, when she clearly saw me sitting next to her. Oh God!! Is she mad at me?.

"Am trying to make does bitches know I don't give a shit about them"

"Who?"

"Who do you think? cheer bitches"

I directed my eyes to the Cheerleaders Obviously glaring at Genevieve.

"What did you do now?"

"Nothing"

She says in a rather low tone, for Genevieve.

I raised my eye brow in denial. Genevieve has alwayed pissed off the Cheerleaders. Either by always getting in their way, or snatching their boyfriends.

"I sorta slept with Josh Holloway"

You have got to be kidding me, josh freaking Holloway. His the best Quarterback in Living Spring, he won the back to back championship, 3times, and his the hottest guy in school.

"Gen"

"In my defense he hit on me"

She said bursting into laughter, and so did I.

"You know Emily isn't gonna let that go right?"

Emily Ashton is the Queen Bee in school, she's also the captain of the Cheer squad, and every guys dream, well every guy except from apparently Josh.

Genevieve let out an unattractive snort.

"Like I fucking care"

I quickly cover my ear, I know am a major nerd, and weirdo.

"Language Gen"

She pulled my hands from my ear, and started yelling, fuck fuck fuck fuck.

"You're such a kitten".

We all got sitted for Mr Santiago, our English teacher' arrival.

" shit Emily is coming over here"

Genevieve wishpered. Like you didn't expect she would be my Sit mate, but at least she's not in Physics. Genevieve hates math.

"I thought you aren't sacred of her?"

"Yeah but I don't like the idea of her been close to me, that bitch is shady"

"Well you're crazy"

She bit her lips, and starred at me like she's thinking my words over.

"I guess you're right"

"Hello Bitches"

A warm feminine boomed from behind me.

I decided that I wanted to be the first person to comment on your book. I had seen that one of my favorite authors posted an update and you said that you just wrote a book and it's amazing.

Oof! This book is really rough and hard to read, no offense dear, I’m just trying to help here.

Make sure to put your punctuations inside the dialogue bubble, not outside. Honestly, a rookie mistake, I used to do that myself until I started paying attention to what I actually read.

Also, a simple space would suffice, don’t jump a line to start your narration after a dialogue, unless the topic changes.

Disregarding grammar and punctuation mistakes, I’m curious enough to flip the pages for the next chapter, so it must mean you’re doing good.

If this is your first attempt to write, well done, don’t stop writing no matter what the comments and haters throw at you. Just keep getting better, learn from your mistakes, and don’t take constructive criticism to the heart.

Vampire: Great story. Clear plot line and very interesting. Characters are lovely and well made. Amazing writing skills and grammar. Only thing that was a little bit too much is the repetition but I guess it's a writing style? Anyways I love it definitely recommend it!
