New Year, Same Me
"Only two weeks left!" I screamed to my mom from my room. She didn't hear me, but I was too lazy to yell it again. I was so excited that there were only two weeks, six hours, and two minutes left until the new school year. School gets even better each year. My friends get more jelous, field trips are more fun, and the teachers like me more than the ones from the previous year! The only thing is that my grades are bad, but my mom doesn't even care. She just signs my report card and goes to her job working for some magazine. Anyway, the point is that I know why everyone at school loves me. They love me because It's me. We might have new teachers, but it's still the same me. We might have new kids in our school, but it's still the same me. We might have different friends, but it's still the same me. We might be going into a new school year, but it's still the same me, Cassie Jane Banks.
