Prologue
As a great castle they say live a powerful king. Born with a golden spoon in his mouth, he already got everything he could ever asked for. His people always looked up to him. Rejoice to him in every victory of wars. Who's man will not ever trade to be in his kingdom? Sadly, also the king.
living by yourself in a castle for more than hundred of years is like living in a four cornered room. Cold. Empty. He never mind tho. He enjoys being a beast. A very powerful beast with a very handsome human face that any woman in the world could ever fall for. He adores being the king that everyone fear in their dreams---not until he met her.
He never feel. Not even feeling emptiness and hallowness in his chest all these centuries. But why does every fiber in his body ache in just a simple shred of her tears?
No one had ever phantom that with just a flow of tears in her eyes, The king has fallen in to his knees.
"I will never love you!" As soon as word left my lips, pain had crossed in his handsome face.
"And why the hell not?!" he roared in anger.
"I will not ever love a beast!--"
"Yes! I am a beast! Not just one but king of them all and I am fcking proud of it! I seek this--this power that I have. I got everything until you came!" I shakily stand my ground. He was more beast now than human. "Until you came, I had loathed everything that I had ever loved! You made me hate all the power that I've worked tru the years! And I should hate you for that but I just fcking can't!"
"But how can I hate you? I cannot ever hate someone that I am destined to love for eternity." he whispered as his features slowly softened.
Not being able to withstand the tension, A tear escaped my eyes as I fall unto my knees. Shocked, as the king had also fallen into his knees.
He wiped my tears as he painfully look in to my eyes. As if seeing my soul, "Don't cry love." he gasped. " I know now. Your tears will be the cause of my downfall."
