Chapter 1

All he wanted was the

girl he wants back. All she wanted was to have an interesting life. Neither of them were all human.

I wanted to wake up, I wanted to get away from the darkness. All he wanted to do was to follow "it", he thought I was delusional. He thinks I'm supposed to be the girl he wants me to be, to be perfect. He thinks I should follow hes lead. All I want is to be free. I want a better, interesting life, but he was in the way. He controlled my every step. Almost as if I'm a puppy in training.

I awake to the light casting through my window. My eyes had a hard time adjusting. The covers of my bed were soft and warm, they were slick to the touch. I gently get up and feel the cold floor under my feet. I stand up straight, I hear the creak of the floor board. As I walked, as I looked around, everything was heard as if it was a TV being turned up.

I reach my closet. I pick out clothes I feel comfy in. I put them on and start walking towards my bedroom door, I hear the screech as it opens. I walk to the kitchen and go into auto-pilot.

I walk into school and instantly regret it. He started walking towards me. " Hey Jupiter--" He trails off as he looks me up and down. " What are you wearing," He sounds as if he was disappointed in me. " Kace, its what I always wear," I said annoyed by his question. " Here let me get you different clothes and then--" I cut him off " You don't control me!" Kace looked me up and down and huffed. I walk past him towards my homeroom. " Jupiter, please just wear the clothes I pick out for you", " NO, you don't own me and you don't even live with me. How could you possibly pick clothes out for me? If your so embarrassed from being near me then go find someone else to 'hand' around" He looked pissed when I finished talking causing him to finally just shut his mouth. I started walking again and followed like a puppy.

I was so ready for school to end. I don't think I can handle being scolded for something so pointless. Why does he even care what I wear. He acts as if I'm a toddler that needs help getting dressed.

My head hurts from thinking too much. I couldn't focus in 6th hour and everything stressed me out 7th. I just want to go home and rest, to sleep.

Everything was blurry and got worse the more I thought about things. I eventfully didn't know what was going on around me. I black out.

3rd person view

Jupiter was passed out on the floor of room 137. Mr. Edmund called the school nurse and the hospital. Sirens turned on and headed towards the school. Everyone was freaked out. Not even Kace knew what was happening, No one did.

An ambulance soon approached the school. Jupiter was sent to the hospital soon after.

Jupiter perspective

I wake up in a white, clean room. The bed is hard and cold. There is none else in the room except me. The door opens quietly. I go into alert mode. " Hun, there is nothing to worry about. Your in the hospital," an elderly woman said. I wanted to believe I was safe, but when your a demon are you ever really safe in the world I live in?

"What happened," I said willingly to listen to what she'll say. "Your teacher, Mr. Edmund, stated that he was in the middle of the lesson and out of nowhere you fall to the floor and don't attempt to get up," she said as she walked towards the cabinets on the walls. I was in the hospital, I passed out during class, and no one I knew were here. " You will be able to go home tomorrow after we do some tests, do you have someone to pick you up?". "Maybe, I'd have to call them and see"

"Alright, I'll leave the room and let you be" the elderly woman walked out the door.

I punched in the phone number and it rang. Not for long though.

" Kace, can you come pick me up from the hospital tomorrow"

"Jupiter, I'm sure I can, but you have to wear what I pick out for the rest of the week AND have to sit with me at lunch understand?"

I have no other option." Okay..."

We both say goodbye and hang up the phone. I can't believe I am going to allow him to dress me for the rest of the week. I don't think I'm going to like what he picks out either, plus it won't be what I'm used to either.

I feel my head start to hurt once more. The pain is like a train running me over, TWICE. I don't think I'll be able to handle it much longer. Not to much longer atleast.

Then I feel the need to sleep, I my eyes want to close, but I want to stay awake. It hasn't been that long since I woke up anyway either. My sleep schedule is going to be all screwed up by tomorrow.

I think to myself, I pinch myself to keep from falling asleep and to make sure I'm not dreaming. I feel like every minute is an hour pass, but it isn't, It just feels long. I eventually fall asleep without noticing and forget I'm dreaming. Everything I'm dreaming about almost feels as if its real. I don't like that, not one bit, but I can't fight it. I'm in a dream world. And all I know is that this week is going to be hell.
