After being kidnapped as a young child, seventeen year old Scarlett Grey found her way home to her family. For months, she struggled to find a balance between the girl she'd left behind and the girl she had become. But she did. She had a family, she made friends, she fell in love, and she was finally happy.
That is, until she lost the most important person in her life to a merciless disease: her beloved mother.
