Getting real

Well, here I am managing a broke company. It has been really hard since my dad is still in the hospital when he got into a coma 2 years ago. I have been dealing with the shit he is suppose to deal with at age of eighteen!

Luckily my mom took over while I finished college, but it does not change the fact she almost got me killed...BECAUSE OF A STUPID PHONE THAT SHE ADORES SO DAMN MUCH!!!!!!!!!

Just today I went to the hospital to visit my dad, my foster dad and yes I am adopted.

"Aaah Cassandra your just the person I wanted to talk to!"

"About what?"

"Well I know about the company Cass and I am not stupid enough to not know!"

"Ummmm dad just please relax!"

"Cassandra please!"

"I'll do what I can dad bye!"

"Oh Cassandra"

"Luisio we need to talk..."

I never expected my dad would know, but that's life it not like I can change that.

I just it's a lot to take in, especially in a time like this...

When I got back home....

"Oh dad your HOME!?"

"Yes indeed though this is temporary"

"Oh well what brings you we just met at the hospital two hours ago?"

"Can't tell you just yet but get dressed we're going to dinner!"

"What, where!?"

"Ugh stupid parents"

Oh finally this day has come, me eating dinner and getting straight to bed right after!

But let's be real that never happens, as in NEVER!!!

So this is a bit coincidental actually!

"Hey dad!"

"Aah Cass come sit!"

"Who are they?"

"Well they're the parents of James!"

"Holdup, James as in James Xander!!??"

"Yes indeed and you two are gonna get married!"

"I'm sorry I think I'm hallucinating"

"Huuu you aren't hallucinating darling"

"Whaaaaaaa..."

And just like that I fainted, like a drama queen, in a telenovela!

"What!?"

"You fainted sweetie"

"Oh now I remember, no I am not getting married to a.... a manwh-"

"Stop right there you are to be married and that is final!"

"I'm twenty six and the last time I checked I can make my own decisions!"

"Who will manage the company then? Huh! I can't take this, you don't even have time to date!"

"Well that's because I'm too busy dealing with the shit you were suppose to deal with!!!"

"Oh my Cassandra!"

"No this is it I am not being controlled again! You even forgot that I almost died because of you!"

Then the room was silent, like really silent. Everyone could not close their mouths after what I said.

"Oh hey guys did I miss anything?"

"You! Dammit get outta my way!"

"Woah okay looks like I did!"

"Would any one like to tell me what happened!?"

"Your... getting married to Cassandra"

"Whaaaaaaaaaaa...!"

I cannot deal with them right now so I ran out and got Lane to drive at Krisks, it is my favorite bar slash club. I hate being around my parents but I didn't eight years ago. Because they adopted me but they never had time to spend time with me.

So I practically have my own life.

A life at the company...

When we arrived, I told Lane to go and leave.

"Cassandra! Regular?!"

"You know me well"

"Heh I guess"

"You know what!? Gimme six!"

"Are you sure?! This is extremely strong!"

"Yes!!!"

"Okkaaayyyy..."

"Whoo!"

"Uuuh Lane I don't think Cass is gonna get home by herself."

"Alright I'll come over!"

I do not know what I was doing in fact I don't actually care at all, I was the meaning of stupidity that night.

I was sooo tired so I decided to get home but I just couldn't.

I walked out and damn my head was aching af!

Then a man, a muscular man came to me and started to touch me.

"Stop it!"

"Your mine sexy"

"No get away!"

"You little-"

Just then someone pulled my arm and a man was standing in front of me, he was hot af.

"Little what? Huh!"

"Oh uh nothing we were just playin.."

"Fuck off, before I do something I'll regret!!!!!"

He turned to me and everything went black.

But I can feel him carrying me,he put me into a car, his car and drove of.

When I woke up and I was hangover. I could smell good breakfast but I panicked. Cuz I was not in my room at all!

I went down and then I saw James!

"What the hell am I doing here?"

"Sit down! And I'll consider telling you.."

"Ugh! You don't have to cause I remember now!"

"Yeah okay, oh and I heard I was getting married to you!"

"Whatever!"

"Where you going?"

"I'm gonna find a condo unit to live in, temporarily"

"Your already in one my love"

"Don't. Call. Me. My. Love!"

"Oh feisty I like it"

"Eww"

Then when I opened the door my dad was there with my mom, holding of what looks like a contract.

"What?"

"You need to sign this contract woman!"

"Oh yeah umm Cass.."

What the fuck I thought, can my life get any worse!? There's even a contract!
